Building an Art Community: Journey Prompt #1 Introduction to (Patreon)!

Hello Reader, Welcome back to Occipicco Art community. :) Have you ever wondered why I haven't been on social media as much lately? Well, for a long time I have been trying to figure out how to reach out to more artists like you that allows me to have a deeper connection with you outside of social media. Even though I have been enjoying using Instagram as one of my main social media platforms to engage with my followers, I want to use a community platform that allows me to connect a lot more with beginner artists. I want to be able to help them build confidence in creating paintings using acrylic painting medium. Right now, I'm sharing how I'm building my brand from scratch by using Patreon; a community platform for artists. I am building Patreon so you will have access to abstract painting videos: mountain landscapes, and seascapes, and create live streams for you on how things are going and if you have any questions that you want me to clarify. Also, this will give you an opportunity to work with other artists in chat rooms. I always throw in an art therapy twist; how do you feel before joining, how are you feeling at the moment, and how do you feel afterwards. How all of this comes about is that when I was given an opportunity to teach an acrylic painting class at North Seattle College on July 11th and 12th of 2024. There were all female students for Seattle Go 2 Seattle Study. This was a very humbling experience because I thought back when I was an art student at Daemen College in Amherst, NY. Sometimes you don't know what opportunities may come your way. If you want to see some behind the scenes by building my art community on Patreon, I can show you the process.
